DESCRIPTION:For the first of the Circle’s March webinars\, we’re delighted to welcome Matt Day\, winemaker from South Africa’s oldest-established wine estate\, Klein Constantia\, who will reveal all about the somewhat enigmatic title of his presentation. \nMatt’s main aim will be to highlight how Sauvignon Blanc\, when well made\, is truly one of the noble wine grapes. Let him explain: ‘I will chat about the old and the new and how times are changing and the trends that people are following. And hopefully by the end I will have confused everyone enough to think that Sauvignon blanc is actually something to be taken seriously and isn’t just a tooty-fruity cultivar’.  \nHe will also discuss the uniqueness of South Africa’s icon sweet wine Vin de Constance\, with a focus on the future rather than the past. \nDo join us on the 4th.
