Jancis, widely regarded as the world’s most influential wine writer, will be talking about why wine bottle weight matters and the current state of play on bottle weight around the world. She will highlight the goodies and the baddies, and touch on various alternatives in wine packaging.

Supported by her team at www.jancisrobinson.com she has long been at the forefront of campaigning for ‘greener’ bottles, forcefully spreading the word that glass-bottle manufacture and transport is the most significant contributor to wine’s carbon emissions. Her website was a pioneer in including bottle weights in tasting notes. This seminar will provide an invaluable overview of a topic essential to all wine communicators.
