Allison Sheardy’s wine career began a decade ago, born from a lifetime love of food and fine dining that evolved to encompass wine as well.
She has mainly worked in the hospitality sector of the industry, creating a niche for herself working for boutique, family-owned wineries in unique wine regions around the United States (Texas Hill Country, historic Livermore, CA, and now Minnesota). Allison has a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature, and holds the WSET Diploma in Wine.
Equally passionate about wine writing and education, she regularly writes freelance articles and teaches WSET and Wine Scholar Guild classes. When not studying for her next wine certification (she is currently in the Master of Wine program), Allison enjoys travel, cooking, jigsaw puzzles, reading, kayaking, and hiking with her lab mix, Cabbie.
