Emily Cappiello is an experienced travel, food and beverage writer, often writing about the intersection of delicious bites, sips and travel adventures.
Publications she has contributed to include Fodors Travel, SevenFifty Daily,, Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Vinepair, Wine Enthusiast, Martha Stewart, Bar + Restaurant News and Edible East End. She has a Master’s Degree in English Literature from Hofstra University and a Bachelor’s Degree in American Literature from Stony Brook University.
Emily is continually trying to expand her reach and skill set in the wine world, and loves to read about wine including learning about new trends and deepening her love for viticulture. Emily is a huge proponent of Long Island Wine Country, where she cut her teeth on Cabernet Franc and Merlot. She currently holds WSET level II and is on to WSET level III.
