Krister Bengtsson is a Swedish journalist and entrepreneur with a background in both the media and wine industries.
In 2017, he founded Star Wine List with the idea to guide wine lovers to find great wine bars and wine restaurants. Today Star Wine List covers more than 36 countries with recommendations made by wine professionals such as Arvid Rosengren, Paz Levinson and Ruth Spivey. Moreover, wine lovers can browse wine lists and and search for wines in more than 2000 wine lists.
Krister is based in Stockholm but you might run into him in Spain or France as he has lived in both countries and loves to go back as often as possible. But his real love for wine actually started elsewhere, in South Australia. When he was traveling as a freelance writer he ended up in Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills and Mclaren Vale, and was hooked.
