New Member: Neil Cammies

Neil Cammies has written a wine column, initially in the South Wales Echo, then the Western Mail for 21 years. He has hosted tastings for local businesses, Welsh Cheese Festival and various food festivals including Newport and Abergavenny.

He also writes food features focussing on the great ingredients and stellar chefs currently working in Wales today, including Stephen Terry, Shaun Hill and Gareth Ward. This has led to judging at the Great Taste Awards and appearing on Great British Menu and Street Market Chefs on Channel 5.

Broadening his horizons he has co-hosted sherry and vermouths tastings and now includes a cocktail of the week feature in his column while ‘experimenting’ with different recipes, all in the name of ‘research’ for his readers.

We welcome Neil to the Circle and look forward to sharing his news and features soon!
