A Piedmont native, Sandro Minella is a professional sommelier and a licensed tour guide. He’s the owner and founder of Taste Your Way, a company with 20 years’ experience in tailor-made food and wine events, educational workshops, and tours all over Italy, for wine professionals and wine lovers.
Since 2019, he has been the scientific director and professor at Barolo & Barbaresco Academy, for which he curates all the training materials.
Author of The World of Wine in Piedmont (Lina Brun Editions), he collaborates with several trade organizations, such as Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco, I Vini del Piemonte, Consorzio Tutela Nebbioli Alto Piemonte, Consorzio Alta Langa, FISAR, and ONAV, holding masterclasses and tastings in their official events all over the world, and leading press tours.
Sandro has been the conductor of all the live cooking shows with Michelin-starred chefs at the Alba Truffle Fair since 2013.
After his long-time commitment to promoting Langhe wines and food traditions, he was appointed Knight of the Truffle and the Wines of Alba.
