Welcome to Tobias ‘Toby’ Gorn as a new Circle Member.
Toby is an award-winning drinks and cigar writer with several columns in print and online. He has two decades of experience in the industry, including being head sommelier for Michelin star awarded establishments and is a Scotch Malt Whisky Society veteran. Throughout his career, in addition to wine, he has always loved whiskies, gin and the weird and wonderful worlds of liqueurs, bitters, aperitifs and fruit spirits.
Over the last decade, he has focussed on fine wine, whisky, gin and premium cigars and fulfilled different luxury retail purchasing and related events-management roles in London. He is one of the busiest drinks competition judges worldwide and co-founder of International Drinks Specialists – a group of top industry experts providing consultancy services to drinks producers and brand owners.
Toby is also an enthusiastic clay pigeon shooter, official shooting instructor, coach and referee, seen many times hosting educational wine and spirit tastings out in the field.
