Christoph Raffelt started writing about wine in 2007 on his own german blog Originalverkorkt.de. Since then, he has written over 1,000 entries.
For more than ten years his written works have been appearing in such publications as Meininger’s Weinwirtschaft, Weinwelt, Sommelier, Champagne-Magazin, Schluck, Trinkmag.com and beginning in 2023, his work will also be appearing in Feinschmecker.
Furthermore he founded the first german wine podcast in 2012, which is still on air with altogether over 300 episodes. With the founding of the Büro für Wein & Kommunikation in 2016, he has begun to make his professional expertise available to wineries, associations and importers.
He gives advanced training, master classes and continuing education. In addition to German-speaking wine regions, his special focus is on Champagne, the Loire and New Zealand.
