Darren Gall has worked in the wine industry for three decades as winemaker, grape grower, brand and market developer, writer and judge. He has lived and worked in the wine regions of Coonawarra, McLaren Vale and Margaret River and has travelled the world as an ambassador for wine.
Darren began exporting to Asia a quarter of a century ago and has lived in the region since 2001, developing markets across the region. He is a food and wine writer for many magazines and newspapers, has written a food and wine book and collaborated on a number of others. He is the creative director of Urban Flavours food, wine and travel website and produces and directs a digital food, beverage and hospitality program for the S Liquor group. Darren is also consulting winemaker for Red Mountain Estate in Shan State, Myanmar.
