Caroline Henry wins Terres et Vins de Champagne Award

Champagne-specialist Caroline Henry became the first woman to be recognised with a Terres et Vins de Champagne Award last month, in its ten-year history.

The prize is given by a group of growers to one individual each year who has made a significant difference in the Champagne industry, and Henry was recognised for ‘defending the terroirs and sustainable viticulture in Champagne’.

Henry is a frequent correspondent on Champagne for and recently published her own book on Champagne ‘Terroir Champagne – the luxury of sustainable, organic and biodynamic cuvees ‘.

Henry is also a CWW Committee member.
