New Member: Arnica Rowan

Based in British Columbia, Canada, Arnica Rowan writes for JancisRobinson.com. After placing runner-up in Jancis Robinson’s 2019 writing competition with an article on Ethiopian wine, Arnica continues to pursue her passion for obscure and place-based wine stories across the globe.

For a decade, Arnica taught as a professor and conducted academic research in sustainable business practices. She now provides private research and development services for the North American wine industry. In 2019, Arnica co-founded the Tasting Games, Canada’s charitable blind-tasting competition for wine professionals. She holds a B.Com., an M.A., and is currently studying as a WSET Diploma student.
