Peter Richards MW and Susie Barrie MW are inviting members to join in their annual Wine Festival Winchester, which this year is going online!
Taking place on Saturday 28th November, the day is packed with delicious online wine masterclasses curated via the festival’s website www.thewinefestival.co.uk
“We’ve taken our Wine Festival Winchester online, in the spirit of positivity – trying to support exhibitors in terms of driving sales, and give people something fun to look forward to and participate in during this 2nd lockdown,” explains Peter. “It’s all free access, so there are no tickets needed, and it’s all about kicking back, enjoying some fine wine, and having something fun and positive to look forward to!
“I hope that Circle members might want to take part or let other people know about it — we feel that this year it’s about being positive and supportive, and just making things happen to keep spreading the wine love, so we’re really just doing this in that spirit. It’s a leap of faith on our part but hopefully we can make it work! And for that to happen we really need participation.”
There are 13 different wine tasting sessions, samples for which are selling out fast, which are all detailed on www.thewinefestival.co.uk The masterclasses last 25 minutes each, and will go live on the Wine Festival’s YouTube channel. There are also some fun competitions with delicious wines for prizes.
